The story of Victory Wealth Partners begins with the values instilled in founder Bud Verfaillie by his parents, Howard and Dale. Although neither had a formal education, they emphasized faith, hard work, integrity, and serving others within their community. Buds father worked as a carpenter and taught the importance of honesty and caring for others, while his mother encouraged her children to believe that success could be achieved through determination and perseverance.
Inspired by those values, Bud became the first in his family to graduate college and founded his financial planning practice in 1978 at just 22 years old. From the beginning, his vision was to provide objective financial guidance centered on clients best interests rather than product sales or commissions.
Over the years, Victory evolved into an independent fiduciary firm focused on disciplined investment management, retirement planning, and transparent advice.
In 2009, Bud’s eldest daughter, Ashley Rosser, joined the firm after spending ten years as a pediatric nurse. Her healthcare background shaped the compassionate and service-oriented approach she brings to clients today. Ashley started by learning every aspect of the business from the ground up and later earned her Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation before becoming President in 2016.
In 2024, Ashley officially acquired Victory Wealth Partners, continuing the family legacy while helping guide the firm into its next generation of growth.
Today, Victory remains committed to fiduciary accountability, disciplined investment strategies, and personalized financial guidance designed to help individuals, families, and businesses pursue long-term financial confidence.
Our vision for the future is to continue expanding our impact while staying true to the principles that have guided the firm since the beginning: integrity, education, transparency, and putting clients first.
