Life Care and Estate Planning Specialist
A graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Bud holds several professional designations including: AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary), AIFA (Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst/Center for Fiduciary Studies), CFF (Certified Financial Fiduciary/National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries), PPC (Professional Plan Consultant/Financial Service Standards), and CFP Emeritus (Certified Financial Planner/College of Financial Planning).
Bud currently uses his 45 years of retirement planning experience to help educate Victory’s clients in the area of Life Care and Estate Planning. Life Care Planning focuses on the immediate and long-term needs of aging people and their family. Bud also provides elder care implementation strategies to protect assets during retirement.
Bud has been an instructor/trainer for over 25 years. Subjects include: “How to Initiate a Successful Asset Management Business in Your Accounting Firm”, and “Converting Your Commissioned-Based Investment Practice to Fee-Based”. Bud has taught financial planners CFP Preparatory classes for the National Institute of Finance.
A featured columnist for “Wealth Creation” magazine, Bud has several published works to his credit, including: “How Many Hidden Times Bombs are in Your Company’s Retirement Plan”, “Who’s Managing Your Company’s Retirement Plan?”, “The 10 Myths Concerning Your Retirement Plan”, and “Benefits of Upgrading Your Existing 401k Plan Rather than Replacing It”. Bud and Ashley Rosser are founding board members of the 401k Specialist, which provides industry information to financial advisors who are becoming specialists in the area of 401k planning.
Bud was a board member of the Mullica Hill Rotary Club for over 30 years where he held the position of President twice and was the fundraising chair where he was integral in helping to raise over $250,000 for local charities and other service organizations. Bud is one of the Founding Board members of People for People (which raises money for families in need), and an active member of his church. Bud moderates a Christian Men’s discipleship and training ministry who have been meeting every Monday morning since April, 2016.
Bud planned, initiated and led a group of men to conduct Hurricane Relief work in Southwest Florida and also the Florida panhandle where they spent a week each time repairing modest homes in towns devastated by Hurricanes
Bud has been married to his High School sweetheart Peggie since 1977, has three daughters, Ashley, Lauren and Brittany and six grandchildren. His hobbies include writing Biblical Substantiation Commentary (Defending Truth), personal fitness and nutrition. Bud also enjoys woodworking, where he learned many of his skills from his father, Howard Sr. Buds’ greatest passion is supporting his grandchildren and trying to teach them important life lessons.
